Sustainability Statement

🌿 Rooted Impact

At Grace in Motion, sustainability is not a trend - it's a practice of care. We believe that wellness must extend beyond the individual body and into our communities, our environment, and the systems we participate in. Our approach to sustainability is rooted in responsibility, transparency, and deep alignment with our values.

Environmental Care
We strive to minimize our environmental footprint through conscious choices: maintaining digital records, carpooling to classes, and investing in durable, sustainably made props and attire from brands with transparent impact practices. We use tools like the Commons App to help guide our purchasing decisions. As we grow, we’re excited to expand our efforts, including a future Thriftflip shop, which will offer secondhand, upcycled apparel featuring our brand logo!

Community-Centered Wellness
We are committed to making our offerings accessible to those who need it most. Through our seva, we regularly offer free or low-cost classes in collaboration with local businesses, public schools, farmers markets, sister brands, and more. We intentionally center women, educators, mothers, public servants, and members of the BIPOC community in our work, knowing that healing spaces are most powerful when they are inclusive, welcoming, and grounded in collective care.

Sustainable Leadership
We reject hustle culture and honor a slower, more sustainable way of doing business. Our instructors are never pressured to overcommit and are supported in moving at their own pace. We hold transparency, rest, and intentionality at the heart of our leadership, modeling a way of working that prioritizes people, not performance.

We believe that sacred work can be done gently, collaboratively, and joyfully. This is how we practice sustainability: as a living, breathing act of love.
